The "Académie de langues et de commerce" - G. & S. Roesner - is international in character and by vocation. With a student body of 225, and a staff of 25, the school provides ideal conditions for individualized attention and success. The considerable number of different nationalities represented make for a real United Nations in action.

Teaching methods and the general approach to studies reflect today's evolution. All subjects are taught by experts of their branch. Computer science is an integral part of every curriculum, completing the requirements of management and industry.

In addition to the professional training in the field of commerce, secretariat and tourism, there are over 30 different French- and English language classes, from the beginner to the superior level. Course participants are prepared for the official examinations of the "DELF" and the University of Cambridge.

The entry for the full-time sections is in September of every year, however, for language studies and some programmes "à la carte", other dates may be considered, depending on space availability. Intensive French classes for beginners start in September and January of every year.

On request, the school furnishes information on local housing arrangements (student pensions).

The Académie de Langues et de Commerce is certified "EduQua" (Swiss certification of quality for institutes offering a continued professional education), and is a member of :

The institute is also an authorised IATA Training Centre (ID: CH-ALC-2-97-001), preparing students for the official "IATA/UFTAA International Travel and Tourism Foundation Diploma".
